TORONTO – (April 28, 2011) – The popular mixed martial arts brand TapouT, an Authentic Brands Group company led by James Salter, will be in Toronto April 28th, 29th and 30th, 2011. The TapouT crew, which includes founders Punkass and Skyskrape, as well as popular MMA fighters, Stephan Bonnar, Ryan Bader, Donald Cerrone, Cole Miller, Chris Lytle and Pat Barry will be hosting numerous events around the city of Toronto before UFC® 129, the UFC®  Fan Expo and the much anticipated bout between TapouT fighter Jake Shields and Georges St-Pierre. TapouT founders Punkass and Skyskrape will be available for media interviews April 28th, 29th and 30th. The TapouT founders can discuss the upcoming fights, the UFC® Fan Expo, and the story of TapouT, bringing true MMA insight to the City of Toronto. Here are some images from the Battlefield weigh-ins last night. The fight takes place tonight at the River Rock Casino in Richmond, BC. Good luck to our sponsored fighters, Morgan, Ash and Jacen!

Tapout Canada sponsored fighter Nick Marinos was victorious at IFC 9 on October 2nd. In doing so he claimed the IFC Welter Weight Championship! Congrats Nick!

First of all, congrats to Aaron Berke on his win at MFC 26 on September 10! He won by Rear Naked Choke in the 2nd round. Tapout Canada welcome Ash Mashreghi and Jacen Brooks to the team. They will both be fighting at Battlefield's October 15th Event. And "Tricky" Nick Marinos will also be repping Tapout in his title bout on October 2 with IFC in North Vancouver.

Once again this year TAPOUT sponsors the NEC BJJ Championship. Rickson Gracie Black Belt, Shane Rice, will be presiding over the tournament. Proceeds from the event benefit The Power of Sport for Kids Program. Sport Chek's The Power of Sport for Kids Program donates new sports equipment to kids who need it most. Many children and families have never had the opportunity to participate in sports due to economic issues, isolation or severe family challenges.  Sport Chek is committed to providing recreational opportunities to organizations that help kids and youth who might otherwise not become involved in healthy, physical recreation. Youth centres provide opportunities and space for youth to become involved, get off the streets, get support to resolve problems, and teach them valuable skills about fair play and leadership.

Another UFC has come and gone with an excellent viewing party at the Stadium Club inside the Edgewater Casino.  The crowd was electric during the Couture/Toney match, and were celebrating MMA's victory afterwards.  After the fights there was a bikini contest and afterparty as well. One of the best viewing parties in a while.

TAPOUT presents ELITE1's next MMA event at the Casino New Brunswick. It's happening September 18th, and tickets are available now. Here are some pictures from their last show in July.

Saturday, August 28th we are back at the Stadium Club inside the Edgewater Casino in Vancouver for UFC 118!
